OR-OSHA Temporary Rule- COVID-19 Workplace Risks

    • Deadlines. Unless stated otherwise stated, most provisions go into effect November 16, 2020.

     

    • Exposure Risk Assessment. This is the rule that requires documentation and employee feedback. It has a completion deadline of December 7, 2020. Also, they included a form employee questionnaire (when opened, look for link to word doc at bottom right of screen).

     

    • Ventilation requirements. Must be updated by January 6 2021.

     

    • New Poster Requirement. Link to poster here. 

     

    • Cleaning and Sanitation Guidelines. Same as draft rules 

     

    • COVID-19 Training. Required by December 21, 2020. OR-OSHA will provide most of the materials to complete the training, but not the training itself. Can be remote or virtual, but must have mechanism for feedback.
