Annual Employment Law Legal & Legislative Update
Randy Sutton and Garrett Urrutia from Saalfeld Griggs Business Lawyers will join us for their firm’s annual legal and legislative update. In addition to giving a preview of new Oregon and federal laws in the works, Randy and Garrett will discuss the latest Paid Leave Oregon developments and a variety of other case and regulatory updates to keep in mind for 2024. This is always an entertaining and informative session. Randy and Garrett are looking forward to joining us in person and will make sure we have lots of time for questions.

Randall Sutton
Randall Sutton is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on business and employment litigation matters. Randall also advises employers regarding employment law compliance. With nearly 30 years of law practice, Randall is highly regarded for his skills as a litigator and is a frequent public speaker on employment law compliance issues.

Garrett Urrutia
Garrett Urrutia is an associate attorney in the Employment Law and Civil Litigation groups. Garrett is building his practice by defending businesses against claims by current and former employees, drafting company handbooks and employment agreements, handling business disputes, and litigating civil matters for clients. Garrett received both his bachelor’s degree and his Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Oregon. During law school, Garrett worked in the Linn County District Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable litigation experience by appearing in court almost daily. Garrett joined Saalfeld Griggs in 2021 and enjoys using his skills and experience to best serve clients.
