    It’s been three (3) years since Oregon Pay Equity Law went into effect! How has your organization been making sense of it all? Did your organization conduct any analysis, ready for a 3- year review to maintain safe harbor, or still trying to align practice with policy. Let’s take a deep breath of reflection and uncover some of the pay equity myths, best practices, and focus on next steps for application!

    As a consulting firm, many of our client interactions have been focused on the need to pay more to get candidates, align with market, and reassign work as lack of candidates has left long term holes in processes and procedure. All of these, and almost every question relating to pay, will start with the foundation analysis done to reach and maintain compliance with Oregon Pay Equity.


    This presentation has been designed to assist you in learning how to Oregon’s Pay Equity law and you work help to answer these common and emergent challenges. As well as assist you in outlining risks and solutions for decision-making activities.



    Jennifer Schoorl has been with HR Answers for just over a year and has been in the human resources profession for over 25 years. She has had the privilege to work in public, private, and non-profit organizations, different industries, and in various roles. As a consultant and partner with any organization, her focus is based upon listening, analyzing, and creating a collaborate space to talk through all related scenarios. Her current focus is supporting the clients HR Answers supports which includes all aspects of human resources. Her focus areas are employee relations, performance management, and strategic planning. On a personal note, she grew up in the Oregon valley and enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family!
