    Cracking the Culture Code: How To Build a Healthier, Higher Performing Culture That Works

    Building a great place to work doesn’t have to be complicated; it starts with your employees. Managers and HR can learn invaluable skills for understanding employee well-being and how it impacts the culture at work.

    In this session, participants will learn why employee happiness and social-emotional health matter in today’s workplace. They will also learn how to use people analytics to make data-driven decisions about culture and well-being.The program will also present strategies to help improve internal communications, employee recognition and strengthen the sense of community.

    Learning objectives:

    • Review the prevalence and cost of poor employee well-being and unhealthy culture.

    • Understand how Positive Psychology and Social-Emotional Intelligence impacts employee performance and organizational health.

    • Learn to recognize and manage general signs of poor employee well-being

    • Learn key strategies to improve interpersonal employee recognition

    Devin C. Hughes is an author, speaker, consultant, executive coach, and an internationally recognized expert on how work is evolving. He is best known for his expertise in the science of happiness, organizational/cultural change and leadership development. He has lectured and worked with a variety of Fortune 100 companies, as well as the Secret Service, the IRS, and an assortment of profit and non-profit organizations. Devin is the author of 19 books and has lectured in more than 15 countries. He lives in San Diego, CA with his wife, four daughters and two rescue dogs.
