    Join us for the July Membership Meeting as Rose Barker talks identity theft in the workplace.

    This workshop will focus on how this growing crime of identity theft impacts the business environment, businesses and their employees. There will also be practical tips shared to help prevent identity theft in your workplace.

    Rose Barker, Certified Risk Management Consultant, is an expert on identity theft. She is requested to speak at SHRM groups and businesses across the West Coast,sharing information on how to protect companies, employees, and their families.

    She is a Salem, Oregon native and avidly supports fostering local community.Rose was a featured speaker at TEDxSalem in 2018, speaking about the risks of Internet of Things devices.Her presentation "Internet of Things: Are Smart Devices Helping or Harming?" is well-received during this time of massive changes in the technology and devices we use. The State of Oregon uses her as a resource in educating their Department of State staff about identity theft. When she's not helping businesses and employees, you can find her gardening, cycling, volunteering, and playing with her poofy dog Foxy.
