Since the economic collapse of 2008 Bill Humphreys Sr., President and CEO of Citizens Bank, has traveled throughout the Willamette Valley discussing his views on the current local and national economies. Over the past four years he has discussed the different phases of the collapse and what the federal government is doing to remedy the current economy. This most recent presentation touches on, “Phase Two of the Financial Crisis from 2008”. This presentation highlights the Current Home Equity Situation, our Current Debt Situation, the Budget Control Act of 2011, the Next Big Challenges, where he thinks the economy is going and how to prepare local businesses for the economic future. Mr. Humphreys does a great job of bringing the national and local problems to the forefront and discussing how it affects local businesses and community members. The presentation generally takes an hour and a half including time for questions.
