    Michele Swift, Assistant Professor in the College of Business at Oregon State University and Patricia Kenney, Sr. Director of Human Resources for the Oregon State University Foundation will lead a discussion on Strategic Thinking for HR Professionals that will focus on aligning human resources activities with an organization’s stated short and long term goals. This alignment is integral to the human resources function being a key player and “at the table”, influencing organizational direction and outcome. In addition to strategic thinking, the presentation and discussion will delve into how the HR function can drive generative thinking, where new ground is broken and new initiatives are adopted.
